Grey “Grey K.” Kaczun is a Canadian singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Nashville, studying Music Business at Belmont University. His sound is heavily influenced by 90s rock and alternative music, inspired by the melodic grooves of Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Tragically Hip combined with the sultry emotion of Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. 

Attending a non-musical high school in Toronto, Grey struggled as a shy and aspiring singer and guitar player. Through years of vocal, musical and professional training, he formed his high school's first ever rock bands, mentoring fellow, aspiring musicians and arranging performances! Throughout high school, Grey developed his performance skills, acting in eight unique school plays. 

Beyond school, Grey joined and sang in several music academies, most notably Merriam School of Music, where his group, “Blind Squid” won the 2024 Battle of the Bands competition. Grey’s passion for songwriting and making original music skyrocketed through the co-founding of his independent rock trio “Club of Shattered Hearts.” From 2024-2025, the band was consistently active in the local Toronto music scene, playing Smokeshow BBQ and Brew, Dopamine Lounge, Black Swan Tavern and Stackt Marketplace! The band also released four singles on streaming, all written entirely by Grey!

In the summer of 2025, Grey began studying Music Business at Belmont University and has since remained an active performer, playing at campus events and open mics, most recently and notably, The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville’s most prominent hotspot for discovering emerging talent! During the summer, Grey returned to Canada and played acoustic and band gigs all over Muskoka. Now in his sophomore year, Grey is working on the formation of a new band in Nashville who plan to release music before the end of the year!
